Aight, I’ve had a few hundred people ask me about this shit, so I thought I would write a few little lines about what’s going on up on the blog.

Firstly, the initial concept kind of happened as an instant decision. We were out riding one day and Salad was just like, “why don’t you do a DVD?”, then I was like ok. A few people have approached me with the idea before but with a million people in Brisbane filming DVD’s, I wasn’t into it. But, when I thought about it some more, all that is required is some patience, I just save up what I usually put on the web for a longer period of time and voila, I have a DVD. As you may expect, the riding aspect is not insane, however, as filming progresses, I am actually surprised with some of the shit. Samson Ross, Dave Wood, Brock Olive and Matt McCallum all have some real good shit.

Which brings me to the next point. ABSOLUTELY ANYONE can be in this shit. I film with whoever ends up riding with us on the weekends. So two ways to get in this bitch; one, hit me up and I will come film you, that simple. Two, send me tapes, as long as its SD 4:3, actually I don’t care, just send whatever you got, I will put it in. The more the merrier I reckon. For example, I currently have 3 people around Australia who are sending shit in, a Perth mix from Mat Lawton, a Nowra/Sydney mix from Ammon Chesworth and a mix of something that Dre Regli is sending me. This makes me very excited.

So, this is the current breakdown of sections. Brock Olive, Matt McCallum, Jack Elkins, Ammon Chesworth, Samson Ross, Tom Stretton, Big Salad, Dogs mix, Dave Wood, TMPRD mix (Nick, Jerry and myself), Perth mix, the shit being sent in from around Australia, Brisbane mix and a Sunshine Coast mix. But as I said, ultimately, it’s just whoever get’s clips with me. For me, this is the most fun I could think of. Hopefully, I can edit it in such a way that makes people laugh, yet retains a sense of watchability. Additionally, I am hiring the talents of Mitchell Wood to add a little editing flavour to the final product.

At the moment, this shit should be free and hopefully done by the end of the year, I don’t want to let it sit for too long. As of tonight, I finished editing the first section, an Ammon Chesworth mix, its fun.

Anyway! I am very excited to finish it and I can’t wait to sit down in front of a TV screen with some mates and have a laugh or two. Hopefully you will find it funny as well. Holla, Mike.
