Welcome Back: Samson Ross

July 25th, 2011 — 11:52am
My boy Samson is back in the game after spending 6 weeks off nursing a broken hand. He wasted no time in getting back into clipping and shredding rails this weekend…
Whilst he is excited to be riding again, it was not as smooth as he would have liked. His reaction…
Love you.

Bio: Dylan Kneebone

July 24th, 2011 — 11:22pm

This week I bring to you the words of Dylan Kneebone in a quick Crispy bio! I have noticed Dylan in a few FP one clips and heard his name being thrown around here and there lately and thought it was time to find out a little more.

Name, age, hometown & hook-ups?
Dylan Kneebone, Ringwoooooood & Ballistyx BMX
Describe the scene in Melbourne?
The Melbourne scene is real good, so far most people I’ve met have been real nice, chilled, keen to ride and talk shit. Melbourne has got so many good street riders and spots.
What’s it like rolling with the FP crew?
It’s really good, they are always having fun and have taken me to some really good places to ride, thanks Coop!

What does the perfect rail entail?
The perfect rail for me would either just a good flat rail or a mellow-ish 8-10 stair.
How much does progression play a role in your BMX outlook?
I like to progress a lot but I’d prefer to just go out with a good group of people for a ride and have fun.
Lay down your bike set-up?
I ride a brakeless Sunday forecaster with Sunday bars and wethepeople forks. The front wheel is an Eclat rim with a Primo hub and the rear is a Colony rim with an Eclat hub. The rest is mostly Odyssey and I run 4 pegs.

How would you describe your style of riding?
I ride street most of the time and I try to keep things flowy and steezy.
What keeps you busy Monday to Friday?
I go to TAFE 3 days a week and just ride the other days.
In regards to the coming few years, what are your plans?
I’d really like to go on some road-trips to ride new places and meet new people.

Thanks, shout-outs?
Thanks to dad and Ballistyx for the bikes and to all the local boys and thanks to Marnold for helping me out with it all over the years! All the Ringwood kids are sick. Oh and a big thanks to Michael Vockenson for this.
I’m also going to hit you with Dylan’s 20/7 for this week, complete with his top albums;
Thanks to Dylan for being keen to do this and Cooper Brownlee for hitting me with the photos!
