Bit late on the ol’ weekend update, been working a day job and rising before the sun gets up, what a joke.
Anyway, on sunday, Tom A and Lance came up to ride some spots on the Sunny Coast with samson, myself and a irritable adrian duffy.
Tom fired off a naughtly little drop at the start of the day in the million degrees heat while we looked on:

Later on we drove back to a school we each have duties to fulfill within. I got one of my clips ticked off:

Finished up there, not feeling too amped for hitting anything else except a chill flat rail which Lance i might add, new to the sport, slayed for our delight, then the rail got back at him and taught him how to fall on his side.

This sunday, off to Gold Coast to ride some spots with Tom and hopefully Robert before he bails to Tasmania.

Lastly, dropped my clips to beast and matty last night and got a sneak peek at the tempered coast to coast trip edit, looks real good, not sure when its coming out but.
Oh and also seen that the new metal shirts are out on dans soon, stoked.

Love this dudes riding. Must be so accurate with this shit to be able to shred these monthly edits much without getting hurt. I still dont understand the technique required for crank slides, i hate them and they hate me.

You know these are going to be amazing, wonder if davey pulled the first massive rail to over.

So today is virtually the last day of university for this year. I sort of don’t want it to be ending, this year was really enjoyable, now i have 3 months of free time.

Yesterday we hit the road with Tom and Robert, uncovering most of the high schools north of Brisbane city. You would think that there would be a lot of spots, and you would be so so wrong. From the day’s effort, we discovered one rail, a pretty good one too. Samson lost his virginity to this rail (17 stairs) which was a pretty good effort, stoked for him.

I gained virginity on this rail, bitching out of ice and over.

There also needs to be a few clarifications from the day, Adrian Duffy believes that the phrase, ‘spitting image’ is relevant over my belief of, ‘splitting image’. Secondly, Adrian Duffy claims that nuclear power is the driving force of global energy supplies in the near future, I however believe that wind, solar and hydro should comprise the majority.

Lastly, France only utilises 70% of its power from nuclear, not 90% as claimed by Mr Duffy.

We lagged so hard that i didn’t even take any spot photos, so i think ill just put these ones up for whatever reason.

Haven’t posted a bmx video i enjoyed in a while, however, with those blokes you cant go wrong. Barcelona appears to have ridiculous architecture and limited policing, almost starting to become over worked. Riding in shorts is pretty manly.

Also, today i was watching the awesome midday channel 7 movies when Peter Garrett’s Traveston Dam decision appeared. I was pleasantly surprised to see he overrided Anna Bligh’s framework in favour of maintaining vital endangered species. Rekindles alot of lost faith in the modern democracy.

Hopefully, with some efficiency in place, my tempered edit will be out soon.

Ahhh back to riding! Today was pretty sweet, hit up some schools and UQ around Brisbane with Samson, Duffy and Tim. A large portion of my clips so far are being assigned to an upcoming Tempered edit so I have alot more shredding to unleash for Tina. Clocked a few clips today and got a shot, whilst Samson and Tim each got something done. Unfortunately Tom Caveman hurt his back so he and Robert bailed, man we need to be riding together before Robert goes home but. Left my camera at home so i didn’t get any shots, too bad.

The night before we went to some crazy little party down the road from my crib where a bunch of wild punk bands were shredding a basement to the glory of a bunch of creatures. Pretty cool to see.
