We have never celebrated Halloween because that is just fucking stupid. It is an ancient gaelic tradition which has been homogenised by American’s in their attempt to sell more stuff and confuse everyone’s minds by telling them its a holiday in which to celebrate, but what is it?

Well as i said its an Irish tradition by which people celebrate the end of the light half of the year and the transition into the darker half. Apparently as myth goes, this phase is the time that evil spirits can easily pass through, therefore they wear scary outfits and place vegetables on their windows to scare them off.

America has adopted the tradition through a high rate of Irish immigrants, however, why countries like Australia want to involve themselves in such an event is ridiculous.

I have a vivid memory growing up of watching the following movie, ‘The God’s Must be Crazy’. Its basically situated upon a group of bush people who live in the Calihari desert. Its pretty psycho to imagine living without things that we take for granted. One part, which is in the youtube clip, the narrator explains how simple these people live in comparison to modern civilisation. We have complicated our lives to the point that we must endure 17 years of schooling just to survive in the world which seems ridiculous compared to communal life. However, I dont think i would want my life to change from how we live now. Anyway, different perspectives are always interesting.

The period of ruination has been somewhat lengthier than i previously estimated. My hand and shoulder are continuing to deal pain to my riding abilities. It’s becoming a little aggravating i must admit.
Anyway, in continuing with the amount of negativity lately, i have compiled a list of things that should die:
- 3/4 pants
- Wearing jogging shoes when your not jogging
- scooters and everything associated with them
- people obsessed with money
- humans who have no regard for their obesity
- sollies with bad attitudes
- every person who tells me i need a haircut
- commercial television/newspapers/radio
- festival goers

Ill no doubt think of a trillion other aspects which deserve a place on the list.

Holy moly, Guy Sebastian the pelican twat has been quoted in saying,’Im not impressed with the latest series’. Sebastian believes that, ‘there’s not a huge diverse amount of talent” on the seventh series. I can’t believe he said that. How this shit made it to its 7th series i dont know. Idol is a fucking commercialised shit factory from which large islander bitches can unleash their voice and have kyle dicklands tell them they’re shit. Then at the end of the season, one dick with the least amount of pride and integrity becomes crowned ‘idol’ and releases the shittest album of the year and then becomes crushed in the sick world of ‘pop’ music.
It just highlights the amount of douche bags in Australia, no, the world. I start to feel sick sick sick.

As the title suggests, hand is still sore so no bike riding. So frustrating.
Duffy and myself drove around the northside in search of some schools i got tipped off on, found some awesome rails which we will no doubt head back to.
Also confirmed a gap/spot for future slaying, wasn’t too sure if it was possible but when I’m 100% and duffy has a digital camera it will be done, then i can cross off another banger for Tina.
Until then, more study, its almost done!
Cant wait to scour more towns and schools.

The man, the myth, the legend!
I am of course referring to the greatest man to ever grace the ‘sport’ of bmx. If you don’t know who i’m talking about, you are either naive or too young.
He would have to be one of the most badass and original dudes around. I could only find a few shots of him, although the footage ive seen from old props is hilarious.
Most notably his props 16 interview and his antics at the start of megatour 4.

Although, i did find this quote from here detailing a tale of the Gonz;

‘At the MTV Sports and Music Festival in 1999, Gonz completely lost his mind.
