Update 22 August

August 23rd, 2009 — 11:30am

Once again sunday has proven to be a killer day. Duffy, samson, mackle and myself headed off early and rode northlakes ledges, clocked a few clips then met up with matt lawton, jerry v, tom appleby and his mates. We rode around Brisbane and found a few cool spots, Tom and Robert shredded these concrete up ledges until we decided to hit up Roma St, Robert tooth hangered a gnarly 14 stair steep rail and i jumped out of a tree.

Few photos of the day:

Amazing band out of the UK, meshing grunge rock over minimalist electronic indie sounds. Vocalist Alison Mosshart is also apart of ‘The Dead Weather‘ alongside Jack white of The White Stripes.
Listen out for them, Midnight Boom is a killer record.

Update 16th August

August 16th, 2009 — 11:07am

Thought I’d acknowledge how much i thrive sunday’s. Lately it’s been the only day of ‘proper’ riding i have been able to fit in. Today was especially thrilling, we drove to Strathpine and met up with our little mate Willet. He brought us to a few killer spots in the northside area. Around 5-6 clips were added to the tina list, including a potential banger. Anticipating this dvd so much, sort of provides that added incentive to go faster and higher. Soon ill have a digital camera and ill be able to provide a few shots to the description of our day.

Anyway, here is a video of slayer that really psyches me up.

Caliban after a lengthy stint are about to release their LP ‘Say Hello to Tragedy’ which from the sounds of their myspace is quite similar to previous albums, which is of course a good thing.

We should have a little Tina preview video surfacing early next week as well as a Matt Mcallum edit in progress.

Contrary to the beliefs of a few members in the sunshine coast bmx scene, Kylie Minogue is a total badass!
She has been keeping it real for like 20 years forging her spot as a pioneer of Australia’s pop industry. Throughout her career she has sold over 60 million albums, charged through breast cancer and sung at the Olympic games. She is friggin 42 and super hot! She may not be everyone’s cup of tea, although my views are aligned with those of a certain Sandy Carson.
